About Chris &
North Coast Restoration
I've lived on the Mendocino Coast my entire life. This is my home, and the people here are my neighbors — so when I started North Coast Restoration, it wasn't just a business decision. It was a natural next step.
I grew up working alongside my father, a third-generation contractor. After school, on holidays, through every summer — I was on his job sites learning the trade from the ground up. Concrete, framing, finish work — I learned it all.
After graduating in 2000, I joined the crew full time. By 2011, I was managing the crews, directing the work, and handling estimates. When my father retired in 2018, I went out on my own.
Through years of contracting work, I kept running into the same situations — homes damaged by fire that needed to be rebuilt, structures that needed to be boarded up, and mold that had to be dealt with before repairs could begin.
I found myself drawn to that side of the work. There's something about showing up when things have gone wrong and helping someone move forward that means a lot to me.
That's what led me to start North Coast Restoration. We handle the full picture — emergency response, cleanup, remediation, and when the time comes, the rebuild. Having a construction background means we don't just stabilize and hand you off. We can take you all the way through to a finished, livable space.
I love this work — and more than anything, I love being able to help people through something difficult.
